February 15, 2022 —The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Cindy Jerome as Lathrop Community’s new Chief Executive Officer effective March 15, 2022.
Cindy comes to us with a wealth of experience in senior living. Her most recent job has been as Executive Director of Alice Peck Day Lifecare in Lebanon, NH, preceded by almost two decades as Executive Director of Garden Path Elder Living in Brattleboro, VT. She even lived in Northampton 30 years ago when she was Program Director of ServiceNet.
We are grateful to the consultants of Diversified Search Group for their help in managing the search process and identifying Cindy as a candidate, and we are also grateful to the residents and staff for their active participation, especially during the Zoom interviews with the finalists and giving feedback. The participation and feedback were most helpful, and the sense of community during that process was reassuring and inspiring.
Cindy is eager to start the job and looks forward to getting to know staff and residents. She will succeed Liz Weissbach, who has done such a wonderful job as interim Executive Director since last August. Our pleasure in welcoming Cindy is matched by our regret at saying good-bye to Liz. Aren’t we fortunate!
